Shake all ingredients with ice cubes. Pour unstrained into a tulip glass or specialty glass I wanted to make this drink simply for the novelty of the jade green color. What I discovered is that this is a surpisingly complex drink with both orange and minty flavors but perfectly balanced; neither one overpowers the other. As the ice melted it took the mint edge off. It's a very light drink. This recipe is for a double and I think this would work well as a starter drink, later switching to something with dark rums, 151s, or other stronger spirits. 17-Aug-2014 Dead Bastard
Shake all ingredients with ice cubes EXCEPT ginger beer. Stir in ginger beer. Pour unstrained into a double old fashioned glass 10-Aug-2014 Bourbon Special
Shake well with ice cubes. Pour unstrained into a double old fashioned glass 03-Aug-2014 Molokai Mule
Shake well with ice cubes. Pour unstrained into a double old fashioned glass or a Molokai Mule mug (I used a rum barrel mug). Optional garnish with pineapple stick, mint sprig, and/or orchid. 27-Jul-2014 Anklebreaker
Shake well with ice cubes. Pour unstrained into a tulip glass or double old-fashioned glass. NOTE: This is a tad on the sweet side. Next time I make one I'm only going to use 1/2 oz simple syrup. More drinks! [ Index | Page 1 | Page 2 | Page 3 | Page 4] |
